The Tipping Point In Business

The Point At Which It Tips

July 27, 20254 min read

I’ve seen the tipping point happen time and again with ladies in my community.

The tipping point is a stage you get to, where suddenly (but also not so suddenly!), your business starts to take off, fast.

Many business owners think the tipping point only comes with grand gestures, huge launches, going viral.

That is far from the case.

The tipping point often comes off the back of quieter moves, smaller steps, being authentic, moving away from all the noise, and showing up for the longer haul.

Many of the ladies in my community have reached their tipping points, not through large scale moves, but through the smaller consistent CHURN (as I call it), every single day over the duration.

Take Helen for example. She joined my membership 3 years ago, and then upgraded to my bespoke coaching program (40k Plan) six months ago.

Over the time I’ve known and coached Helen, I’ve seen her tidy up her business model, drill down on her messaging, find the type of products and services her audience wants and needs, and continue to show up consistently when she was speaking in to the void.

Over and over again we’ve had conversations when the results weren’t there, I’ve encouraged Helen to just stay with the CHURN, using the strategies we agreed upon, pushing her to continue to put one foot in front of the other every day.

I assured her that if she just kept moving forwards, the tipping point would come.

It did. This year.

Helen has just reached over 1 million views with her Facebook content. She has published and sold 100s of copies of her first book in weeks. She has an audience on Facebook growing in droves every day. She’s receiving countless messages from people asking for her products and services. She has two more books in the pipeline, and a waiting list for those books.

Helen’s tipping point arrived, and she is now maximising the success of that tipping point moving forwards. We’re consistently working on her strategy to make sure she can manage the growth from this tipping point, without burning out.

There are other ladies in my community experiencing their tipping points.

Other ladies are earlier on in their business journeys, and are having to push on, taking the steps, earning their stripes, staying committed, until their own tipping points come. They will. If they can go the distance.

My own tipping point came four years in to my business journey as a coach. Four years of grafting, showing up into the void, learning, building, creating, connecting, pivoting, before the tipping point came with my first bespoke coaching program (40k Plan), that took off beyond what I thought it would at Christmas 2024.

The point is, somewhere in your future, is your own tipping point. You will experience it, if you’re willing to remain on your path long enough for that tipping point to come.

When it does, it’s exciting, overwhelming, such a feeling of relief, but can also be really scary, as you suddenly find yourself thrust into a whole different level of entrepreneurship, that you quickly have to figure out how to manage.

Many business owners give up and walk away right before their tipping point comes.

For you, that point could be tomorrow, or next week, or next month. It might be further away. But if you don’t stay on this journey, you’re never going to experience the sheer thrill that the tipping point brings, when it finally arrives.

I’d be interested to know if you’ve reached your first tipping point yet? What was the tipping point that suddenly brought you some greater success? Or are you still treading the path, earning your stripes, staying in the CHURN, waiting for the tipping point to come?
